| CRYSTAL HEALING THEORY The word Chakra is Sanskrit for wheel or disk and signifies one of seven basic energy centers in the body. Natural healers believe that the SiO2 in the crystal communicates with SiO2 in the human body. It is this common link that allows energy to transfer from the crystal into the body and promotes healing. Certain crystals do possess vibrational energy that is known as the piezoelectric effect. The effect allows crystals to expand with certain frequencies of energy. The frequency of the vibrational energy released by the crystal is different for every color of gem.
